Experience this intimate, acoustic music program and support local theatre — and enjoy an evening’s entertainment for a song.
The third and final Full Circle Performance Series for this season comes to St. Dunstan’s Theatre Guild of Cranbrook on Saturday, May 15 at 8:00 p.m. The Full Circle Performance Series will present two talented musicians performing live in an intimate venue, for the appealingly low price of just $10 per person. All proceeds benefit St. Dunstan’s Theatre Guild of Cranbrook, a non-profit, volunteer theatre organization.
Blaise Glander and Alan Sturt will perform in the Full Circle Performance Series’ three-quarters round setup, with the audience surrounding the performers at floor level.
Glander is an acoustic soul performer who has been “on a 30+ year journey through music in all its splendor” and blends a wide range of artistic influences into “the expression of the soul through the creation of live music.”
Sturt has a reputation for filling the stage with strange instruments, from Turkish Saz to Hawaiian hollow neck to resonator guitars, all of which he uses to great effect, bringing to life the songs he writes about his original home in north east England and his experiences here in the U.S.
Don't miss the final concert in this season's series. It's is a great way to support a terrific local theatre that's been on the grounds of Cranbrook for almost 80 years, because every penny goes to supporting the excellent theatrical productions St. Dunstan’s presents to the community.
The Full Circle Performance Series plans to continue with future productions, so stay tuned. More details are available on Facebook at www.facebook.com/fullcir and on MySpace at www.myspace.com/fullcircleshowcase.
